Please note: 

last admission to the monument 45 minutes before closing time. 

Closed on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December.

How to get there

BY CAR

N 31 from Reims or Compiègne towards Soissons, then D 1 towards Saint-Quentin and D 5 to Coucy le Château Auffrique (D 5 limited to 3.30 m in height and 2.70 m in width)

The Domaine national du château de Coucy is located in the heart of the village of Coucy le Château Auffrique.

There is plenty of parking available.

  • Pushchairs allowed in the castle
  • Photos allowed in the castle
  • Toilets
  • No climbing on the walls or stones
  • Approximately 40 steps (around the terrace, underground room)
